Having a speed of 14 ips, the B-EX4 has a 40% improvement in productivity around the SX range (10 ips). Ethernet and USB 2. are standard with choices for parallel, serial and wireless LAN. It’s fully suitable for the B-SX range, permitting the quick migration of legacy printers. Additionally, advanced processing abilities facilitate high throughput.

Usability

Ongoing on in the easy operation from the SX range, the B-EX range also contains a user-replaceable snap-in printhead and platen roller, further reducing maintenance costs. The initial intuitive graphical LCD ‘helpdesk’ display improves usability and prompts the novice user to consider immediate corrective action where necessary, keeping user training low.

Features include: side opening double ribbon motor control automatic center media loading near-edge or flat printhead optional ribbon save BCI(Fundamental Command Interpreter) compatibility.(Toshiba uses Fundamental Command Language to manage the printer’s interface.)
